Bibb County 4-H Summer Day Camp
Bibb County 4-H hosted two 2-day sessions of Summer Day Camp. Some of the activities included were art on canvas, canoeing/Natural Resource Program by US Forest Service at Payne Lake, Mae Cremer’s farm tour, Miller’s Pottery tour and activities, and Helping Horses Alabama animal rescue farm in Six Mile. Then off to Brierfield Ironworks Historical State Park for hiking, birdwatching, tree identification, Cahaba River Refuge’s mussel shells/animal skins program and swimming in the park’s pool. Breakfast and lunch were provided. Thanks to each participate, venues and volunteers, 2018 4-H Summer Day Camp was a huge success. We are looking forward to next summer.
