Help support and prepare for the upcoming Child Abuse Prevention Month in April.   The Central Alabama Regional Child Advocacy Center is a non-profit organization providing a safe, child friendly location for conducting forensic interviews of abused children.   To place an order for T-Shirts call 205-926-4310 or stop by the Bibb County Extension Office.   For information see Flyer

Bibb Medical CenterBIBB MEDICAL CENTER NEWS

On Tuesday, February 6 at 1pm: BMC will host the Central Alabama Regional Child Advocacy Center in an informative meeting for our community. They will discuss what their office provides in Bibb County along with resources needed from our community. Bibb County has the highest number of reported cased of Child Abuse in Alabama. This meeting will be held in the BMC Nursing Home AOB room.

BMC will host a Walking Group in the month of February in honor of Heart Health month. *see attached flyer. This is free for the community to join!  See Flyer

BMC in conjunction with the Red Cross will host a Blood Drive on Feb. 28th from 9:30 AM-2:30 PM.  See Flyer

Kids and Kin

Kids and Kin is a FREE statewide program to provide support and assistance for grands, aunts, uncles, and other siblings who provide child care for their relative’s children.  KIDS AND KIN BIBB COUNTY meets on Thursdays 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Brent-Centreville Public Library.
