Soil Sampling LUNCH & LEARN

This lunch and learn program is for anyone that wants to learn the correct way to collect a soil sample and how to use the soil test report. The program will cover Soil PH, Soil Groups, Nutrient Rating, Lime Recommendation, and Fertilization recommendation. Please feel free to bring your lunch and join us! There is no cost to attend, but please call the Bibb County Extension Office to register at 205-926-4310.

The Alabama Cooperative Extension System is offering workshops on income tax for agricultural operations. In the 20th Century, Americans used the power of state and national governments to erect a network of roads and highways that made our current transportation system possible. This presentation uses maps from the Rucker Agee Collection of the Birmingham Public Library to discuss this small but important part of the national Good Roads Movement of the early 1900s.
