The Farm-City program brings the city and the country together by fostering relationships between rural farmers and urban workers. The week of Thanksgiving has been recognized as Farm-City Week. This years theme is “Agriculture: Food for Life”. Calhoun County 4-H encourages all our elementary, middle and high school students to enter one of the Farm-City contests.
There are three different Farm-City contests: multimedia, essay and poster. These contests will run through October 27. All contests entries must either be turned in to a teacher leader at a school offering 4-H programming or to the Calhoun County Extension office by 4:30pm on October 27, 2017.
