Eating Smart, Being Active focuses on enjoying healthy foods, preparation of healthy snacks and quick meals, eating healthy on a budget and changing eating and physical activity habits to adopt a healthy lifestyle. The six week series promotes gradual changes-one step at a time, and encourages changes the whole family can embrace to become healthier. Moreover, Eating Smart, Being Active has become a favorite program among the Motherly Care participants. Eating smart and being Active participants are eager to learn different healthy cooking styles as well as learning how to make their food dollars stretch.
