Great Results in Area 4-H Community Service Project

children donate to community service project

On May 5, 4-H’ers presented the Escambia County Regional Child Advocacy Center with donated supplies from the 2015-2016 4-H community service project. This past year, Alabama 4-H, TGIF and Alabama’s Network of Child Advocacy Centers (CAC) partnered in a statewide community service project. Local 4-H members from Escambia, Conecuh and Monroe counties took part in collecting school supplies and personal care items for the Escambia County Regional CAC. Generosity is a big part of positive youth development. By allowing our youth to give back, we give them a rewarding opportunity. More than 500 items were collected from the tri-county area.
