Eating for a Lifetime of Good Health – Right Bite
The Right Bite series is a 6-Session Class that incorporate ways to look at calories and portion sizes while learning about healthier recipe options. While the series has an emphasis on people learning to eat with a diabetes diagnosis – the class is educational for all. The sessions include the following:

- Portion Control
- Reading the Nutrition Label
- Choosing the Right Fat: Controlling Risk for Cardiovascular Disease
- Carbohydrate and Fiber: Friend or Foe?
- Seven Ways to Control Your Blood Pressure
There is a specific recipe that will be prepared on-site by the participants. For example, the first session looks at a banana bread recipe and how to make it using an alternative sweetener.
