Directions From Russellville: From intersection of 43 and 72 in Tuscumbia, travel East on Highway 72/AL20 to Town Creek, approximately 14 miles.  Turn right onto County Road 274 (gravel road, looks like a driveway).  Posey Farm is about 4/10 of a mile.

4-H Pig Squeal Registration

What is Pig Squeal?  The Pig Squeal project is designed to teach 4-H members management practices for growing and raising swine. It will help develop swine management skills, learn to produce healthy hogs, develop business management and record keeping skills and pride of accomplishment.

To participate:

Must be enrolled in 4-H (age 9-19 as of January 1, 2016)

Will receive 2 feeder pigs (barrows), 60 days old   Care for pigs approximately 120                            Mandatory home visits

Mandatory meeting on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at the Lauderdale County Extension Office; 802 Veterans Drive; Florence, Alabama

Registration form (must be signed by parent and participant)                                                                            $150 fee (check or money order made out to ACES (non-refundable)

Due at the Franklin County Extension office by Tuesday, November 15, 2016
