4-H Sewing Club

We are SEW excited about our upcoming Sewing Club meetings.  Sewing can be a fun adventure and requires using tools you may never have used before, such as seam ripper and a hem gauge.  Having the right tools and knowing how to use them will make sewing easy.

Do you have an interest in learning how to sew and use some of the basic tools needed to begin your sewing adventure?  If so, then mark your calendar for the following dates:

2018                        Dates, Topic & Time

February 15th       Simple Sewing Project:  Pants, Skirt or Shirt

March 15th           Simple Sewing Project:  Pants, Skirt or Shirt

4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

4-H Sewing Club introduces new members to sewing, starting with simple and basic equipment.

The first three meeting will focus on simply learning to use the sewing machine, understand fabric, and make simple projects.

The next three meetings will progress from simple learning to more complex; 4-H members will make a complete outfit within the meetings timeframe.

Sewing Club members will model their complete outfit at County Round-Up, to display their hard work.
