State Competitive Events
(Pictured above) Senior I and Senior II 4-H’ers were very successful at State Competitive Events Day, which was held at the 4-H Center on July 27.
Alabama 4-H Ambassador
Lauderdale County 4-H member, Wyatt, was selected as a 2017-2018 Alabama 4-H Ambassador. Wyatt is a Senior at Lexington High School and has been an active member of Lauderdale County 4-H since he was in 4th grade. He shows beef cattle and competes in livestock judging at the county, state, and national level. He is an avid hunter, and has showcased that interest in various 4-H projects throughout the years. Wyatt has served as an officer in several of his 4-H clubs, most recently as president of the County Council. This is Wyatt’s second year being chosen as an Alabama 4-H Ambassador.
State Shotgun Competition
Members of the Shotgun Club traveled to Childersburg to compete in 2 rounds each of skeet, trap, and sporting clays in the 2-day competition.
State Archery Competition
Members of the Archery Club had a great experience competing in FITA and 3D rounds of archery in Fayette County.
