“It is what you do with money that makes the difference”, says Wil Golden who will present a Money Matters Financial Management Program at the Macon County Extension Office on Wednesday March 1, 2017 at 11am.
The Alabama Cooperative Extension System along with Macon County Head Start will be hosting the program. All are welcome to the program.
Our community needs to increase its financial literacy and programs like this one are needed to help people, including limited income people, realize that they can better manage their financial situations – “they can get from here to there”.
This program called Money Matters in part of a larger, 10 lesson Money Smart financial education program developed by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). The FDIC insures our bank deposits. The attendees of the Money Matters program will be given information on developing a spending plan that works for them and their family, and tools to help them take control of their financial situation.
To register for the program you can contact the Macon County Extension Office at (334) 727-0340. Register quickly because space is limited.
