Pickens County 4-H Cooking Club
On May 4th & 5th, 2016 the Pickens County 4-H Cooking Club kicked off its first ever club meeting. Twenty-one county youth enrolled in the club. Students participated in cooking meatloaf, creamed potatoes, sweet peas with carrots and chocolate cake. Along with learning the necessary skills to prepare the meal, students were introduced to table etiquette. A waiting list for future events has been formed.
