Forestry Workshop and Dinner

The longleaf pine forest once grew on 90 million acres across the South but today only a small percentage of this imperiled ecosystem remains. The Chattahoochee Fall Line Conservation Partnership (CFLCP) is a cooperative effort between multiple organizations and is focused on the conservation, restoration, and management of longleaf pine in west Georgia and east Alabama. Learn more about our regional work with landowners and communities and how we support range-wide longleaf conservation efforts.

Join LuAnn Craighton, The Nature Conservancy, Outreach Director for the Chattahoochee Fall Line Conservation Partnership for a workshop and dinner to help educate local landowners on these important issues.

Alabama Master Naturalist Program

The Alabama Master Naturalist program is a new statewide program whose goal is to help promote awareness, understanding, and respect of Alabama’s natural world among Alabama’s citizens and visitors. In addition, the AMN program will also develop a statewide corps of well-informed volunteers providing education, outreach, and service dedicated to the beneficial management of natural resources and natural areas within their communities.
