Location: Fayette Co. Extension Office
Fayette County Extension has a new marquee sign thanks to funds made available thru a Tombigbee RC&D grant. The sign is double-sided with room for 3 lines of 6″ letters. We would also like to thank the Fayette County Commission, Fayette County Engineer and the Fayette County Road Department for pouring the concrete footer and mounting the sign. The sign is located at the intersection of State Highway 43 and County Road 38 and will make it easier for local residents to see programming being offered by Extension.
The Fayette County Extension Office partners with the local EMA to provide, during times of emergency, logistical support and a staging area for equipment and supplies. Warren Griffith, Fayette CEC, acts as the liaison with local agriculture producers for extra support during disasters.
